Support Assistant

The role of a Support Assistant is to provide assistance to clients with daily living tasks, social inclusion, and community access.

As a Support Assistant, you will work with a variety of clients, each with unique needs and goals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting clients with household chores and grocery shopping
  • Supporting clients with medication and attending medical appointments
  • Encouraging clients to participate in activities such as holidays, fishing, camping, and beach activities
  • Helping clients develop independent living skills and implement behavior management strategies

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
