Warehouse Operative Job

Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Our company is seeking an experienced and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our team in the Sydney area.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and cranes safely and efficiently. You will also be expected to perform manual handling tasks and ensure timely attendance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading trucks from the warehouse.
  • Clear understanding of surrounding areas.
  • Experience with gantry type crane operation is highly desirable.
  • Attitude is extremely highly regarded, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.

Workplace Safety:

  • Adhere to all OH&S policies and procedures.
  • Operate safely and carefully, being mindful of persons and equipment around you.
  • Ensure timely attendance and report any absences to your supervisor.
  • Report all injuries immediately to your supervisor or OH&S officer.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Neat and clean appearance, punctuality, and reliability.
  • Forklift Licence is essential.
  • Crane Operation experience is desirable.
  • Working at Heights certification is desirable but not essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in manual handling.
  • Hold a valid Driver Licence.
  • Hold a valid Australian Work Authorisation.
