At Firesoft People, we are seeking an experienced IT Risk Consultant to join our dynamic Risk Consulting Team.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned professional with expertise in Technology Risk / Compliance advisory experience in private/public practice environment. As an IT Risk Consultant, you will work closely with clients delivering Technology Risk Solutions (SOC-2), IT Auditing, Cyber Security, Data governance, and banking accreditation.

Your key responsibilities will include identifying, monitoring, measuring, and managing risks and controls, including Incident (Risk Event) Management, Issue Management, Risk and Control Assessment, Risk Reporting, and Cyber Security.

About You

  • You have at least $80k – $110k salary range per year.
  • You possess proficiency and experience with auditing standards such as GS 007, SOC-2, IIA/ISACA, COBIT, PCI-DDS, ISO 27001 and/or NIST.
  • You hold CRISC / CISA, CISM, CISSP or CA/CPA Risk accreditation or steps toward achieving these qualifications.
  • You have clear knowledge of Risk Management practices, including Incident / Issue Management, Risk Profiles / Assessments, Control Design / Management and IT audit.
  • You have strong proficiency in the Australian Regulatory framework with regard to Technology/Information/Security.
  • You have clear knowledge of Cyber Security related Risk Management.
  • You are a focused team player who can influence, resolve conflicts and earn the trust of key stakeholders and sponsors.
