**Job Title:** Culinary Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled culinary specialist to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent experience working in a similar role. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and residents alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals for residents in accordance with their dietary requirements and preferences
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards
  • Liaise with the resident care team to ensure that meal times are tailored to individual needs and preferences
  • Assist with menu planning and preparation, ensuring that meals are varied, nutritious, and appealing to residents
  • Supervise and support junior staff members in the kitchen, providing guidance and training as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent experience
  • Experience working in a similar role, preferably in an aged care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
