Transport Operations Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Operations Coordinator to oversee our transport functions in Southern NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for devising and implementing formal processes for a transport strategy, ensuring that deliveries are maintained, contractors are sourced and monitored, and customer service is maintained at appropriate levels.

This role requires strong communications skills, with the ability to manage day-to-day transport operations/logistics to meet business requirements. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing fleet maintenance, ensuring all contractors and service providers have current agreements in place, and reporting incidents and near misses.

  • Proven experience and knowledge within logistics, dangerous goods or LPG industries
  • University Degree in logistics or relevant field (desirable)
  • High level stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with Excel
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

  1. Proven experience and knowledge within logistics, dangerous goods or LPG industries
  2. University Degree in logistics or relevant field (desirable)
  3. High level stakeholder management skills
  4. Excellent communication skills
  5. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  6. Strong computer skills, particularly with Excel
