We are seeking an experienced Mobile Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our client's civil project in Nhulunbuy, NT. This role will see you working with a skilled team of mechanics, servicemen, and boilermakers to ensure all work is completed to quality and safety standards.

You will oversee work order management to meet business objectives and customer expectations. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and repair heavy equipment on site, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified diesel mechanic and excellent communication and organisational skills. Previous experience in a similar role and on a mine site is advantageous.

This is a day shift role with no late nights or weekends, offering a great work-life balance. You will be provided with close-by accommodation, a single apartment or household based on your needs, and will be part of the Rio Tinto Gove project.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified diesel mechanic
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience on a mine site advantageous
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
