Job Opportunity:
A comprehensive co-educational institution with a diverse student body and a strong tradition of academic excellence seeks an English teacher. Located in a picturesque bushland setting near the northern beaches, the school offers a broad range of subjects and extracurricular activities to cater to individual student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English (Years 7 - 12) and English Extensions 1 & 2, utilizing explicit teaching practices to ensure student success.
- Develop and implement rigorous programs that assess student progress, provide quality feedback, and differentiate to meet the needs of all students.
- BUILD STRONG INTERPERSONAL AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS WITH STAFF, STUDENTS, PARENTS, AND THE WIDER SCHOOL COMMUNITY.
- Implement the Positive Behaviour for Engaged Learning framework to promote student wellbeing and behaviour.
Selection Criteria:
- Approval to teach English (Years 7 - 12) and English Extensions 1 & 2.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver rigorous programs that effectively assess student progress and provide quality feedback.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to build strong working relationships.
