Job Opportunity: Business Development Strategist

We are seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager to spearhead growth in the Data Centre and Hospitality markets, with a strategic focus on major infrastructure developments leading up to the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to leverage their expertise in Building Management Systems (BMS) and drive business expansion through new partnerships, tender wins, and market intelligence.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of BMS technologies, integration with IoT, sustainability frameworks, and energy optimisation systems, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a business growth strategy aligning with our company's goals.
  • Identify and pursue high-value projects, tenders, and partnerships within the Data Centre and Hospitality sectors.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets for BMS and related solutions.
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including developers, consultants, facility managers, and decision-makers.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of winning major projects in the building automation and smart building technologies sectors.
  • Strong understanding of BMS systems, including integration with IoT and energy optimisation systems.
  • Established network within Queensland's construction and property development sectors.
  • Experience with long sales cycles and high-value project negotiations.
  • Strategic thinking with a results-driven approach.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
