As a Technical Director in our NSW & ACT Water Team, you will lead a highly skilled team and be responsible for the technical delivery and design management of civil water and wastewater infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the technical delivery and design management of civil water and wastewater infrastructure, working on major and complex projects.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to the engineering team to foster ongoing capability building.
  • Have a passion for delivery of high-quality technical outputs and undertake review and verification of deliverables.
  • Apply your communication and people leadership skills to lead effective conversations with our clients and stakeholders to solve their complex issues in a technically-sound and commercially viable manner.
  • Develop and maintain strong internal and external networks and lead business development opportunities including tender responses.
  • Participate in industry organisations and stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations in water and wastewater engineering and design.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.
  • Chartered Engineer with Engineers Australia.
  • Hands-on experience in Civil Engineering and relevant experience delivering concept and detailed design of civil water and wastewater infrastructure.
  • Strong internal and external stakeholder management experience, a can-do attitude, and a strong team player who works well in an agile and collaborative environment.
