About the Role

Davidson is seeking a creative and experienced Product Designer to join their team on a part-time basis, working from their office in Sydney or Melbourne. This role will involve collaborating across teams to shape the design of digital products and tools, ensuring user-centered designs are at the forefront of development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and Journey Experts to enhance storyboarding, user flows, and overall customer journeys, using Design Thinking methodologies.
  • Lead the design of wireframes and prototypes for an App, and provide ongoing design oversight to ensure smooth progress from conception to development.
  • Work alongside enterprise architects and full-stack engineers to integrate Product Design requirements during the design phase, ensuring API integration aligns with broader platform objectives.
  • Oversee the design of portfolio views, starting with integrations, and ensure consistency with client needs and strategic direction.
  • Develop the proposed front end of a new wholesale validation tool based on documented requirements.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including divisional leadership, to gather feedback and make necessary design adjustments.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Product Designer with a strong portfolio of wireframes, prototypes, and user-centered design projects.
  • Proficiency in storyboarding, user-flow mapping, and creating impactful customer journeys.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with business analysts, engineers, and architects to ensure seamless product development.
  • Experience in designing for digital platforms with a focus on front-end development and API integration.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and refine designs based on stakeholder feedback.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a passion for creating innovative, user-centric solutions.
  • Ability to adapt designs based on evolving business requirements and project feedback.
