About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated General Practitioner to join our team at HealthcareLink. As a valued member of our practice, you will have the opportunity to work with a well-established and reputable team, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide primary medical care to patients, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
- Conduct thorough medical histories, perform physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests as necessary.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, prescribe medications, and refer patients to specialists when needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and administrative staff, to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent degree enabling registration as a Medical Practitioner in Australia.
- 2 years of General Practice experience desired.
- Current GENERAL registration with AHPRA.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- A passion for continued education and professional development, with a commitment to staying current with the latest medical knowledge and technologies.
