We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Tradesperson to join our dynamic team at InfraBuild Reinforcing. As a key member of our State Maintenance Program team, you will play a critical role in executing planned preventive and breakdown maintenance across 13 sites throughout the state.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure a Safe Workplace: Identify and address risks appropriately, demonstrating positive safety behavior and promoting a culture of safety within the team.
- Execute Maintenance Activities: Carry out maintenance tasks according to the weekly work schedule and respond to unscheduled work as required, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance.
- Electrical Maintenance Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems, identifying potential issues and implementing corrective actions to prevent equipment failure.
- Assist in Development of Maintenance Procedures: Collaborate with the State Maintenance Manager to develop and enhance task-lists, work procedures, and instructions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Electrical Trade Qualification: Possess a recognized electrical trade qualification and a strong understanding of electrical systems and maintenance practices.
- Experience in Heavy Industry: Have experience working in a heavy industry environment, with a proven track record of fault-finding, breakdown, repair, and preventative maintenance inspections.
- Overhead Crane Experience: Demonstrate experience working on overhead cranes, including fault-finding, breakdowns, repairs, and maintenance.
- Teamwork and Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Technical Skills: Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic drawings, as well as contribute to informed technical decisions.
- Certifications and Licenses: Hold a forklift ticket and EWP ticket, with experience in SAP or equivalent systems highly regarded.
- Post-Trade Courses: Possess post-trade courses or certifications in electrical maintenance, PLC control systems, or related fields.
- Industry Experience: Have experience working in a similar industry, with a strong understanding of safety systems, HMI, and Scada.
- Permanent, Full-Time Role: Enjoy a permanent, full-time position with a view to a rotating shift roster once initial training has been completed.
- Overtime Opportunities: Have the opportunity to work overtime, with flexibility essential for this role.
