We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Gymnastics Coach to join our team at the Five Dock Leisure Centre. As a key member of our coaching staff, you will be responsible for developing and progressing gymnasts, providing support to other coaches, and attending gymnastics competitions as required.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement gymnastics programs for athletes of all ages and skill levels.
- Provide coaching and guidance to gymnasts, focusing on technique, safety, and sportsmanship.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment.
- Attend gymnastics competitions and events, representing the Five Dock Leisure Centre and the City of Canada Bay Council.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest coaching best practices and methodologies.
- Minimum 'Advanced' or 'Advanced Silver' Accreditation in Men's and/or Women's Artistic Gymnastics in the Gymnastics Australia Coaching framework.
- Extensive experience in gymnastics coaching, with a minimum of 5 years of coaching experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with athletes, coaches, and staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality coaching.
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.
- Flexible hours based on availability.
- Free gym membership, social soccer, and yoga, and adult gymnastics classes.
- On-going training and learning opportunities.
