Process Engineer Opportunity

Brunel is seeking a highly skilled engineer to support operations on the FPSO. This Perth-based position plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the facility, resolving emergent issues, and identifying optimisation opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the process engineering focal point for the FPSO
  • Provide frontline technical support for operational issues
  • Conduct process surveillance and risk assessments (e.g. HAZOPs, LOPAs)
  • Support shutdown planning, maintenance prioritisation, and procedure reviews
  • Identify opportunities for system optimisation and performance improvement
  • Liaise with vendors, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Mentor and support less experienced engineers

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemical, Process or related Engineering discipline, considerable experience in operations support within oil & gas/refining/petrochemicals, and proficiency in Aspen HYSYS and OSI PI. Strong communication, planning, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential.
