Job Title:

Innovation Systems Engineer


Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing defense systems that ensure security and shape the future of space defense. This includes providing technical and programmatic support to government agencies, advising customer leadership on emerging technologies, and evaluating impacts to site architecture.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Clearance: TS/SCI clearance with a Polygraph
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) or relevant field, and nine (9) years relevant experience; Masters in STEM or relevant field, and seven (7) years relevant experience
  • Systems Engineering: At least seven (7) years of hands-on systems engineering experience, including preparation of necessary system engineering artifacts
  • Project Management: Demonstrated expertise across full systems engineering lifecycle and project management
  • Gathering and Identifying Requirements: Experience gathering and identifying actionable requirements for new capabilities
  • Array of Operations: Familiar with DevOps, DevSecOps, Agile development, and AI; Digital Engineering/Model Based Systems Engineering and associated tools
  • Communication: Polished communicator (written/verbal); impeccable interpersonal skills and personal judgment; confident presenting analysis and recommendations to all levels of government
