Job Title:

Senior Financial Accountant

Job Description
  • Manage cash flow forecasting and oversee daily treasury operations.
  • Deliver accurate month-end financial accounts with insightful variance analysis.
  • Partner with stakeholders to deliver timely and accurate financial information.
  • Identify process improvements and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain rolling cash-flow forecasts.
  • Oversee daily liquidity, banking and payment runs.
  • Prepare and post month-end journals in line with accounting policies.
  • Reconcile intercompany accounts and loans.
  • Prepare BAS, PAYG withholding, FBT and superannuation obligations.
  • Maintain the fixed-asset register and manage additions/disposals.
  • Consolidate and distribute recurring financial reports.
Requirements
  • Proficient with mid-tier ERP systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong technical accounting skills.
  • Advanced cash flow forecasting and treasury management capability.
  • Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and tax obligations.
  • CA/CPA qualified or working towards.
