Job Overview:

Dentsu, a global network of creative agencies, is seeking an experienced Sr. Account Manager to join its Public Relations team in Sydney.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in behaviour change campaigns, with experience in managing high-profile accounts for government and non-profit organizations.

About the Role:

As Sr. Account Manager, you will be responsible for independently managing the implementation of ongoing pre-agreed activity involved in the basic day-to-day running of accounts within Dentsu Creative Public Relation's Government and NFP pillar.

Your core responsibilities will include working closely with managers and team leadership to help plan and execute comprehensive behaviour change strategies, developing and executing comprehensive public relations and communications programmes, building strong client relationships, and monitoring media coverage.

Requirements:

  • You should have a good understanding of what makes news, how to develop story angles, and be able to confidently develop all forms of communication/PR materials to a high standard.
  • You should have the confidence and experience to provide your clients with strategic counsel on day-to-day issues, knowing when to seek input from more senior staff.
  • You should also be capable of identifying, understanding, and satisfying your clients' needs and resolving problems where required.
  • You will ensure tasks are completed effectively, work is carried out to high standards, deadlines are met, budgets are properly created and managed, above-average results are achieved and appropriately presented, and clients are happy.

Estimated Salary Range:

$80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
