Experienced Urgent Care Nurse Wanted

The PositionWe seek an experienced nurse to join our urgent care team in Narre Warren. As a key member, you will provide exceptional nursing support and work collaboratively with registered nurses to ensure patients receive comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities- Support RNs in delivering optimal patient care for various injuries and illnesses.
- Perform tasks including administering vaccinations, wound care, plastering, and educating patients on their conditions.
- Conduct diagnostic tests relevant to the patient's condition as directed by the RN.
- Assist with workplace injury management and phlebotomy services (if applicable).
- Ensure all patient care activities adhere to professional standards and ForHealth policies.
- Provide assistance with patient services, greet patients, manage appointment books, register patients, and update their details as needed.
- Offer guidance on inclusion and exclusion criteria over the phone (as required).
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked clinical area, completing administrative tasks such as Medicare billing, coding, and scanning documentation into patient files.
- Accurately document patient information.
- Participate in workplace health and safety initiatives, reporting incidents and hazards according to ForHealth policies.
