After School Club Assistant Role

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a supportive educational environment in the role of After School Club Teaching Assistant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the running of the after-school club, ensuring a safe and engaging experience for children aged 4–11.

  • Support the delivery of the after-school club, maintaining a secure and enjoyable atmosphere
  • Organise and lead interactive activities such as arts, crafts, games and outdoor play
  • Supervise and care for children during the club sessions
  • Develop positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
  • Assist with setup, tidying and snack time arrangements

We are seeking an individual with experience working with children in a school or childcare setting. They should possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, being friendly, energetic and responsible.

Candidates must hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
