Lead a dedicated team in a thriving community-focused early learning service situated between bushland and the stunning coastline of Jervis Bay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and inspire a team to achieve excellence in teaching, learning and care.
  • Support innovative, play-based educational programs fostering curiosity, creativity and growth.
  • Actively contribute to the floor when needed, ensuring a strong connection with children and staff.
  • Communicate openly with your team, families and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee all regulatory requirements for high standards of safety, care and learning.
  • Foster meaningful relationships with families, HMAS Albatross and the broader Defence and local community.
  • Confidently lead through the Assessment & Rating process achieving 'Meeting' or 'Exceeding' ratings.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a leadership or Director role within early childhood education.
  • Current NSW Working with Children Check.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and relevant early education legislation and compliance frameworks.
  • Proactive leadership style with flexibility to work a rotating roster and adapt to evolving needs.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
