Midwife Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Midwife to join our maternity team at Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD). As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will deliver personalized, woman-centered care to meet the unique needs and aspirations of each mother, ensuring the best birthing outcomes for both women and their babies.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal interventions to support optimal birthing outcomes.
- Coordinate and manage holistic care, ensuring appropriate consultations and referrals.
- Collaborate effectively with women, families, and healthcare professionals for exceptional care.
- Supervise and mentor less experienced staff while managing priorities in a dynamic clinical setting.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) (NSW Registered Midwife).
- Recent midwifery experience including, antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care and lactation support.
- Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means; and sound interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
