About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant to join our team at OneCare Ltd.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator in providing an engaging person-centred leisure and lifestyle program.
- Participate and assist in the development of various activities that take into consideration the residents' social needs and care plan.
- Encourage and motivate residents and family to participate in the activities program.
- Regularly evaluate activities and individual care plans in relation to the residents' social needs.
Requirements
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle (or equivalent) or the desire to complete qualification.
- Residential aged care and/or experience working with clients with dementia is preferred.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- A can-do attitude with the ability to learn and grow on the job.
- A friendly outgoing personality.
- A desire to work in the not-for-profit sector in a rewarding environment.
