About the Role

The Service Person Driver is a critical link between our branch, customers, and their projects. As the Kennards Hire representative, you'll provide expert advice, pickups, deliveries, and ensure our equipment is ready for hire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instruct and demonstrate equipment usage to customers.
  • Perform pickups and deliveries, safely loading and unloading equipment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service in all interactions.
  • Maintain equipment quality through regular servicing and minor repairs.
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks as required.
  • Conduct equipment 'check in' and 'check out' inspections.
About You
  • Successful applicants come from various backgrounds, including customer service, building & construction, hospitality, retail, driver, landscaping, trade & maintenance.
  • A valid driver's licence is required.
  • Availability to work half-day Saturdays on a rotating roster.
  • This role involves physical components, including lifting and standing for long periods. A level of physical fitness is required, and the ability to pass a drug test.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential.
  • Be proactive and keen to learn new skills.
  • An interest in machinery and equipment is beneficial, although training will be provided.
