Physiotherapist - Rural Healthcare

We are seeking a motivated physiotherapist to join our team on a fixed term contract for 15 weeks. As a physiotherapist in our multidisciplinary allied health team, you will work with a diverse caseload including clients with musculoskeletal, neurodegenerative, falls prevention, and post-surgical rehabilitation needs.
About the TeamYou will be part of a supportive team that includes physiotherapists, allied health assistants, occupational therapists, dietitians, speech pathologists, case workers, and community and district nurses. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services to the community.
About the LocationAlexandra is a rural town located in the Shire of Murrindindi, approximately 100 minutes from Melbourne CBD. The town offers a rural lifestyle, great cafes, and a beautiful natural environment enjoyed by walkers, cyclists, and skiers.
About the OpportunityThis role would suit an experienced Grade 1 Physiotherapist looking to gain experience in a challenging and diverse role or a Grade 2 Physiotherapist looking to experience rural healthcare. You will have the opportunity to work in cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation and exercise programs, provide inpatient physiotherapy services to our small rural hospital, and outpatient physiotherapy services at our Marysville site.
