We are seeking highly skilled education professionals to join our team as online facilitators. This role involves engaging with preservice teachers through pre-prepared provocations in weekly forums, bringing theory to life with your practical experience.
Your role is crucial in ensuring online students are as prepared, reflective, and resourceful as their on-campus peers. Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and responding to forum posts within agreed service level agreements (SLAs)
- Addressing and redirecting student queries within 48 hours for timely support
- Facilitating engaging webinars for pre-service teachers
- Marking assessments within required timeframes and providing constructive feedback
- Participating in unit inductions and moderation activities to ensure alignment with faculty standards
Mandatory qualifications include a Master's degree or higher, qualified as an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) with at least 2 years of experience in Australia, current and active ABN (or willingness to obtain one before commencing the job), genuine passion for teaching, strong team spirit, proactive attitude, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
