General Practitioner Opportunity in Remote Western Australia

As a dedicated General Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to work in remote Aboriginal communities in Western Australia. This is a unique chance to contribute to closing the gap in Aboriginal health and be part of Aboriginal health self-determination.

About the Role
  • You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver primary health care services to Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander clients and families.
  • Your role will involve providing holistic care to patients within remote clinics and supporting wider communities.
  • You will also be responsible for spending time in emergency medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive primary health care services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local communities and stakeholders.
  • Participate in regular professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • You must be a fully qualified General Practitioner with full registration with AHPRA.
  • Prior experience working in remote areas or with Aboriginal communities is not essential, but strong communication skills and teamwork abilities are required.
