Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience within the Australian market. The ideal candidate will have a background in Building Services and possess a keen interest in designing and delivering electrical systems that meet client needs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, with exposure to a variety of projects, and to grow within a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems for building services projects, ensuring compliance with Australian standards and client specifications.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
  • Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure that designs are implemented correctly and meet quality standards.
  • Prepare detailed documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Provide technical support during the construction phase, addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and best practices to ensure innovative and efficient designs.

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Electrical Engineering within the Australian Building Services sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Proficiency in using relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of Australian building codes and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience with Data Centre projects is an advantage but not essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
