Campus Director

About the Role:

The Queensland Department of Education is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Head of Campus at one of our campuses. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the school community to develop, articulate, and commit to a shared educational vision.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the School Community: Develop and implement a shared educational vision that aligns with the Department's goals and objectives.
2. Instructional Leadership: Provide high-quality learning outcomes for all students by leading and supporting teachers in the development and implementation of effective instructional strategies.
3. Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and the school community to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
4. Principalship: Uphold the principles of values-based, ethical, and moral leadership to guide the school community.
5. Socially Just Practices: Embed socially just practices in daily school life to promote equity and inclusivity.
6. Performance Management: Set high standards for student and staff performance and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure achievement of these standards.

Requirements:

• A strong educational background and leadership experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and manage a team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
• Strong instructional leadership skills and ability to provide high-quality learning outcomes for all students.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and the school community.
