Job Title: Senior Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Advisor
Job Description:Design and Build have partnered with a Tier 1 builder to assist in sourcing an experienced HSEQ advisor to join one of their upcoming projects.
This role presents an excellent opportunity for you to work on a project with excellent safety systems and structure. If you're looking for the next step in your career or a new project, this would be an ideal opportunity to contribute your skills and expertise.
Job Duties:- Ensuring a safe culture and promoting safe work practices throughout the project site.
- Understanding and implementing client HSE requirements to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Conducting regular HSEQ site inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Leading pre-start meetings and toolbox talks to educate site personnel on legislative requirements and company procedures.
- Educating site personnel on changes to comply with company procedures and industry standards.
- Assisting the project team in preparing and implementing HSEQ reporting, including incident and hazard reporting processes.
- Analyzing HSEQ performance data and providing recommendations for system updates and improvements.
- At least 3 years' experience in an HSEQ advisory role on tier 1/2 projects.
- Relevant HSE qualifications, such as a degree in occupational health and safety or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with site personnel and project teams.
