Infrastructure Development Manager

The team's project development, technical, commercial, and finance expertise deliver seamless, value-for-money solutions for clients. Our role spans the origination, finance, design, construction, and long-term operations and maintenance of critical infrastructure including under public private partnership (PPP) models and renewable energy projects.

We are proactive, collaborative partners to clients, infrastructure users, investors, and lenders, building on corporate history responsible for delivering more than 30 nationally significant PPP projects valued at over $70 billion over the past 25 years.

Job Description:
  • Lead the determination of winning bid strategies and bid structures
  • Develop business opportunities through client engagement, market processes, industry briefings, and unsolicited proposals
  • Coordinate a team of development, technical, construction, legal, and finance personnel, along with external advisors
  • Manage client relationships and steering committees
  • Stay up-to-date with trends and market dynamics across the infrastructure sector, contribute to broader understanding, and input into strategic plans
Requirements:
  • Tertiary degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Economics, Business, or Finance
  • 10-15 years' experience in Construction or Operations contracting businesses with senior level exposure to PPP/Project Finance projects
  • Strategic mindset with proven track record of successful execution
  • Previous bid leadership experience and management of privately financed projects such as PPPs
  • Highly organised with strong relationship-building skills, excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated commitment to business excellence and continuous improvement
