Container Park Operations Manager

This role is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Operations Manager to join our team and oversee the safe, efficient and cost-effective day-to-day operations of container park facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage container movements, yard planning, equipment utilisation and employee performance to ensure high service levels for internal and external customers
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and environmental requirements while driving continuous improvement in productivity and operational processes
- Meet or exceed agreed productivity and operational performance targets, manage labour and equipment running costs within budget and effectively communicate with Supervisors regarding resources
- Ensure responsible allocation of resources and management of leave, maintain AQIS/licensing records, remediate any license breaches/notices and accountability for the performance management of all direct reports
- Lead by example in the execution of safe work practices, ensure the continual identification and management of hazards to reduce accidents and injury and ensure equipment needs and maintenance issues are resolved to ensure safety is not compromised

What You'll Need: To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum 5 years container operations supervisor/team leadership experience and extensive team leadership experience with demonstrated effectiveness in team engagement, cultural development and process improvement.
