Fruit Farm Worker Job Summary

We are seeking a Fruit Farm Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will work 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday.

  • Utilize hand tools and agricultural equipment to plant trees, seedlings, cultivate, fertilize, spray, and harvest fruit.
  • Chemical spraying of trees and other plants to prevent diseases, fungi, insects, and weeds.

Responsibilities:

  • Grade, sort, bunch, and package product into boxes.
  • Irrigate land for crop growth.
  • Select and pick fruit according to size and freshness; discard decaying and overripe produce.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Hold a Cert II in Agriculture or higher, completed in Australia.

Farm Working Skills:

  • Time Management: managing one's own time and the time of others.
  • Active Listening: giving full attention to what other people are saying.
  • Critical Thinking: using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
  • Quality Control Analysis: conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes.
