About this Role

The Director, Finance leads the financial direction of the LHD, managing budget resources and financial services to support organisational performance. With delegated authority, the role ensures that financial targets align with the NSW Health Performance Framework.

This is an ongoing, full-time, Band 1, Health Service senior executive (HSSE) role. An attractive remuneration package within the range of $252,839 to $276,942 per annum will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic financial plans to drive organisational performance
  • Manage budget resources and financial services to ensure optimal use of funds
  • Provide strategic advice to the Chief Executive on financial matters
  • Drive sound financial decision-making across the LHD

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in budget management, financial policy development, and strategic financial advisory at the executive level
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in guiding organisations towards financial sustainability
  • Ability to develop and negotiate funding models, pricing strategies, and economic appraisals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
