About the Role

We are seeking an experienced family lawyer to join our team at Empire Group. As a family law specialist, you will work with clients who have complex asset pools and parenting issues, and will be involved in mediations, divorce, and separation cases.

You will have high levels of client responsibility and autonomy, and will work closely with clients to achieve the best possible outcomes. With a strong focus on family law, you will be an integral part of our team and will play a pivotal role in mentoring juniors and contributing to the growth of the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with clients who have complex family law issues, including parenting disputes and asset division
  • Be involved in mediations, divorce, and separation cases
  • Work closely with clients to achieve the best possible outcomes
  • Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to the growth of the team
Requirements
  • 4+ years of post-admission experience in family law
  • Excellent technical skills and knowledge of family law
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathy and sensitivity in your approach with clients
  • Highly developed organisation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
