Our company is seeking a skilled and safety-focused driver to join our team. As a logistics tanker driver, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality service to our customers and contributing to the success of our infrastructure projects across Queensland.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on road safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for safely transporting materials around the Brisbane metropolitan area, conducting daily vehicle checks, and completing basic documentation related to material collection and delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a medium combination or heavy vehicle, ensuring compliance with relevant transport laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance requirements to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation, including trip reports and inventory records.
  • Maintain effective communication with production and allocation staff regarding customer and project experiences.
Requirements
  • A valid Medium Combination (MC) or Heavy Class (HC) license is essential.
  • At least 12 months' experience driving MC/HV vehicles is required.
  • Ability to learn and use telematics technology to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of occupational health and safety principles and procedures.
  • Familiarity with relevant transport laws and regulations.
