Clinical Trials Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacy technician to join our clinical trials team at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne. About the Role:
This full-time permanent position offers a salary range of AU$65,754 per annum, making it an attractive career move for those looking to advance their professional development. As a clinical trials pharmacy technician, you will be responsible for supporting pharmacists with clinical trial activities, including completing trial paperwork, managing stock levels, dispensing prescriptions, and performing aseptic preparations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pharmacists with clinical trial activities, including completing trial paperwork, managing stock levels, dispensing prescriptions, and performing aseptic preparations;
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to clinical trial activities;
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of clinical trial services;
- Develop and maintain expertise in clinical trial procedures and regulations;
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives in the pharmacy department.
Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Health (Hospital Pharmacy Technician) or equivalent qualification;
- Proven experience in clinical trials pharmacy or hospital pharmacy settings;
- Advanced computer skills and knowledge of pharmacy software systems;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
