About the Opportunity

This is an exciting chance for passionate and engaging Certificate III Educators to contribute to our team on a casual basis.

At Burwood Preschool, we foster a love of learning in children and lay the foundation for their ongoing literacy, numeracy, problem-solving, and language development, making their transition to 'big school' and beyond smoother.

Burwood Preschool is a service approved for 40 children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality education and care to children, supporting and facilitating their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework.
  • Develop positive relationships with children, their families, and the community.
  • Facilitate play-based learning environments that are responsive to children's interests, strengths, and abilities.
  • Document children's learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes.
Requirements
  • Must have completed a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education, with previous on-the-job experience (preferred).
  • Be passionate about working with children of all ages.
  • A work history that demonstrates programming, writing learning stories, and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework (National Standard).
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and community members.
