Your Role

As a Biodiversity Project Officer, you will play a key role in delivering projects that enhance our region's biodiversity and promote sustainable land use practices.

You will work closely with our community to develop and implement effective biodiversity management plans, and provide advice and support to Council staff and external partners on biodiversity-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement projects that conserve and restore natural areas, including reserves and wildlife corridors.
  • Work with our community to develop and implement effective biodiversity management plans.
  • Provide advice and support to Council staff and external partners on biodiversity-related issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement integrated approaches to biodiversity conservation.
