Job Title: Maintenance Officer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team at Oaks Hervey Bay Resort and Spa. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the presentation of our guest rooms and public areas is of the highest standard.

About the Role:

  • Undertake general repairs and maintenance as required;
  • Provide induction and supervision of external contractors;
  • Implement the preventative maintenance program for each property;
  • Maintain daily work records and service schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our facilities;
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner;
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless operations;
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance programs.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks and work at heights.
