Exciting Opportunity for a Lawyer in Darwin

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lawyer to join our Public Sector team in Darwin. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of litigious and other contentious corporate and commercial matters, including construction and infrastructure disputes, employment matters, and complex commercial disputes.

About the Role

As a Lawyer in our Public Sector team, you will be working closely with our experienced team members to provide expert advice to government and private clients on a range of commercial matters and disputes. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting for government and private clients in commercial matters and disputes
  • Providing expert advice on a range of commercial matters and disputes
  • Working closely with our experienced team members to develop and implement program strategy
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of program strategy
  • Informing policy development

Requirements

  • 2-4 years post qualification experience from a reputable front-end practice
  • A genuine interest in developing your career in Darwin
  • Recent relevant experience in a firm environment
  • A proven track record of prioritising your time across a number of busy matters
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, required for building client relationships and maintaining a positive team environment
