**Job Overview:**AUMS, a specialist underground contract mining services business operating across Africa, is seeking experienced longhole drillers to join their team in African Operations.The successful candidate will be responsible for drilling longholes using mechanised drills, communicating with surveyors and geologists, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Drilling longholes accurately to design pattern
  • Reading and following mine instruction plans
  • Communicating effectively with surveyors and geologists
  • Maintaining safety protocols and regulations

**Ideal Candidate Profile:**
  • Minimum 5 years experience in the Underground Mining Industry
  • Minimum 5 years solely as an Underground Longhole Driller
  • Knowledge of Underground Mining Practices
  • Efficient operation of an Underground Longhole Machine

**Requirements:**
  • A full pre-employment medical
  • Site specific clearances
  • National Police Clearance
  • Necessary tickets or qualifications

**Note:** A relevant qualification and extensive experience in the field are highly advantageous. Possessing knowledge of new technologies and techniques used in the industry is also preferred.
