Canberra Potters' Society is a leading ceramic arts organisation in the ACT, providing a comprehensive range of services to support artists and promote the art form. We are seeking an exceptional CEO to lead our organisation into its next stage of growth and development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic leadership, operational management, and people leadership and culture. They will work closely with the Board to develop and implement our strategic plan, manage our finances, and ensure the effective delivery of our programs and services.

  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Provide high-level advice and guidance to the Board;
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan that aligns with our mission and vision;
  • Work with the Board to refresh and drive strategic direction;
  • Operational Management:
  • Oversee all operational matters for Canberra Potters in compliance with relevant laws and regulations;
  • Ensure ethical governance and management practices;
  • Develop and implement business plans based on our strategic direction;
  • Monitor and report regularly to the Board and its Committees on finances, project status, and risk;

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and growing organisation that is committed to promoting the art of ceramics. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a real impact and contribute to the growth and development of our organisation.

We offer a competitive salary package, including a starting salary of $120,000 (subject to negotiation), and a three-year contract with option to renew. Six month probation period.
