About the Role

The Work Health and Safety Manager will lead the WHS team to deliver an effective Work, Health & Safety Management System, ensuring legislative compliance, injury prevention, and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Executive, People and Culture, the WHS Manager will provide expert advice on WHS and Workers Compensation matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the daily operations of the WHS Management System
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and processes to reduce injury and illness
  • Manage the WHS Team to deliver strategic and operational outcomes
  • Analyse data and trends to identify foreseeable hazards and implement risk minimisation activities
  • Oversee Workers Compensation claims management

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in WHS and Injury Management
  • Relevant qualification in Work, Health & Safety Management or similar field
  • Experience in managing WHS hazards in Disability, Human Services, or similar
  • National Police Check, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and NSW Drivers License
