About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Specialist to join our team at Crown Law. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing data governance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across Crown Law's information management systems.

You will have a strong understanding of data governance principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels to develop and implement data governance policies and procedures that meet the needs of Crown Law.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced data governance professional to join the Tasmanian Government and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services to the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across Crown Law's information management systems.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on data governance principles and practices.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify and prioritize data governance initiatives and projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of data governance policies and procedures.
