We are seeking a diligent and reliable External Sweeper to join our team in Mirrabooka.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of external areas, including wet zones, on a rotation basis. This involves following strict security and occupational health and safety procedures, removing litter and debris from footpaths using a blower, sweeping car parks with a sweeper, and emptying and washing bins while managing recyclable waste.

The ideal candidate must be able to work autonomously, take pride in their work, and thrive in a team environment. The ability to physically perform tasks is essential, as is having no fear of getting hands dirty.

A key aspect of this role is being able to effectively use tools such as litter pickers and blowers to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Training will be provided, and the opportunity to work for a reputable Perth-based company is available.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Maintain the cleanliness of external areas, including wet zones.
  • Follow strict security and OHS procedures.
  • Remove litter and debris from footpaths using a blower.
  • Sweep car parks using a sweeper.
  • Empty and wash bins while managing recyclable waste.

**Requirements:**

  • Previous cleaning experience (1 year preferred).
  • Driver's licence (preferred).

**Working Conditions:**

This is a part-time position requiring 24 hours of work over six days per week. Working hours include Monday to Friday from 4:30 am to 8:30 am and Saturday from 5:00 am to 9:00 am.
