The Environment Management team plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of environmentally friendly projects.

We are currently seeking an experienced Environmental Advisor to lead our environmental management system and contribute to the successful delivery of our project.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in environmental engineering, sustainability, or related fields, with a strong understanding of environmental regulations and guidelines.

They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train a small team of environmental professionals.

  • Develop and implement an environmental management plan that meets regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Monitor and report on key environmental performance indicators, including energy consumption, waste reduction, and emissions.
  • Liaise with government agencies, clients, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and guidelines.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, science, or sustainability, and a postgraduate qualification in a related field would be highly regarded.

They will also have at least 5 years of experience in environmental management, with prior experience on large-scale infrastructure projects being highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a defined environmental delivery scope through the implementation, and maintenance of an established project wide environmental management system.
  • Monitor and report on key environmental performance requirements, EPR's, approvals, objectives and standards for managing project environmental risks.
  • Develop and build capability of Environment team through Environmental Field Leadership
  • Lead environmental consultants and the collection of environmental field monitoring information.
  • Develop, implement and monitor the scope specific environmental deliverables such as Workplace Environmental Management Plans
  • Liaise with government bodies, Client and professional organisations on environmental matters and audits.
  • Mentor and lead a small team of environmental professionals
