IRT Group, a community-owned provider of independent living, aged care and home care, is seeking a skilled Workforce Planner to join their team.
As one of Australia's largest not-for-profit providers, IRT Group improves the lives of over 9,100 people daily across NSW, the ACT, and Qld. With over 40 communities and service hubs, the organization prides itself on its commitment to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in forecasting staffing needs, analyzing workforce data, and developing strategies to ensure the right people are in the right positions. They will collaborate with various departments to enhance operational efficiency and support organizational goals.
This part-time opportunity requires a minimum of 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work between 6am and 7:30pm.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop schedules aligned with business needs, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Assist the Workforce Coordinator in effectively rostering employee resources, maximizing productivity and minimizing downtime.
- Publish rosters, process employee status changes, and manage employment transactions while providing expert knowledge on relevant industrial instruments.
- Manage contacts from employees and team leaders regarding planned and unplanned absences, assessing requirements for backfilling or additional shifts.
- Maintain compliance with company and industry guidelines.
- Onboard new staff, setting them up on necessary systems.
To Be Successful You Will Have:
- Previous experience in rostering and/or similar roles, showcasing expertise in scheduling and resource management.
- Qualifications in business, commerce, human resources, or demonstrated experience in a comparable position.
- High-level skills in Microsoft Office products and HR information systems.
- Payroll Certification (desired) and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desired).
