Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Coordinator to join our Sales Team in Chatswood, Sydney. This full-time permanent position will report directly to the Sales Operations Manager and provide end-to-end administrative support across sales functions, supporting trade partners, event planning, and escalated customer service issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support trade partners, travel agents, and passengers with group bookings, ensuring smooth event execution and contract management.
  • Assist state managers with expos, ship visits, and major events, including occasional travel and weekend work (time in lieu provided).
  • Manage the Sales Support inbox, phone inquiries, and escalated customer issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Coordinate local co-op marketing, brochure distribution, and promotional campaign activities.
  • Maintain internal processes and documentation for Salesforce, Polar Online, and other sales tools.
  • Collaborate with account managers, event planners, and cruise operations to ensure seamless onboard experiences.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful, you will have:

  • 1-2 years' experience in a sales or sales-focused customer service role within the travel industry (cruise experience preferred).
  • 1 year Coordinator experience.
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Experience handling escalated customer service issues and problem-solving independently.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel and work outside business hours (evenings and weekends) for planned events.
  • Experience with POLAR is a major advantage.
  • Experience with event planning or coordination in the travel industry.
  • Understanding of sales processes and reporting tools (Salesforce, Polar Online).
  • Previous experience supporting multiple teams or working in a matrix organisation.
