Job Title: Accounts Receivable Officer

Are you a detail-oriented and organized professional looking to take your career to the next level?

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our dynamic Finance team in Sydney.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for accounting and finance to manage and oversee the firm's receivables, ensuring accurate and timely collection of outstanding invoices.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and reconcile client accounts to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between client records and internal accounts
  • Process and record all incoming payments daily
  • Proactively follow up on aged debtor accounts to recover outstanding debts
Requirements:
  • Solid understanding of accounts payable and receivable functions (2 - 3 years' experience)
  • Minimum of 3 years computerised accounting experience
  • Experience in professional services
  • Competence with computerised systems including Excel and Outlook
