**The Opportunity**

Due to an influx of new projects, we are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical/Diesel Fitter to join our dynamic team in Welshpool. In this permanent full-time role, you will be responsible for the safe disassembly, rebuild and repair of Caterpillar and Komatsu components and associated products for haul truck operators in the WA mining sector.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, your main responsibilities will include:

- The disassembly and rebuild of front and rear wheel groups.
- Component measure and inspection for its reusability and/or repair.
- Manual handling.
- Appropriate housekeeping duties to ensure the work area is always clean and safe.

**About You**

To be considered for this position you will ideally have:

- Mechanical Trade Certificate.
- Experience in the repair of Caterpillar and Komatsu components (preferred, but not essential)
- High Risk Work Licence - Forklift.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Previous experience in Heavy Engineering / Mining Industry.
